Welcome message

Dear Partners

The « TASC-Le Mans Shoulder » is back. Welcome to the 6th edition in 2022, October, 13rd to 15.

The « Toulouse Advanced Shoulder Course » (“TASC”) includes open and arthroplasty procedures. In 2020, the « TASC » became worldwide and thus the first congress where every surgery were broadcasted from each expert’s own theatre anywhere in the world with more than 1000 connections from attendees over the globe. For a couple of hours, each expert presented his/her clinical case, performed a live-surgery and organized a discussion with his/her local panel. The moderator of the session was located in another city in the world. We followed the sun and every two hours we traveled to another city and country around the globe. Therefore a 24-hour non-stop shoulder surgical webcasted procedures had been planned as « 24 - Le Mans Shoulder ». The main congress was located in Toulouse (France).

To push up the congress, the 2022 edition will have some modifications. Ashish Gupta (Brisbane, Australia) will be co-chairman “When East meets West”. Almost 35 live surgeries (60 minutes each) will be achieved in October 2020, from Thursday,13rd at 6pm to Friday 14th and a cadaver lab will be held on the whole Saturday (15th), both in Toulouse and in Brisbane.

Registrations will be proposed via the internet and everybody will be given the opportunity to follow all the congress … at home (with replays as well) or on site (face to face), either in Toulouse or in Brisbane.

As a consequence, the most sophisticated techniques (bone blocks, tendon transfer, trans-osseous sutures), will be presented and performed by the world-famous surgeon experts who will have been selected.

Industrial sessions will be organized every 6 hours.

We are looking forward to seeing you at our next “TASC-Le Mans Shoulder”, “When East meets West”.
